This year we decided to stay home for Easter. It was a low key, family day! We missed seeing all the cousins and grandparents, but it was nice to experience a holiday at our own house. First we woke up and the girls found their baskets left by the Easter Bunny! They were so excited to look through their treats.
Lucie's basket (on the left) had bubbles, two new sippy cups, new lotion, princess body wash, chocolate bunny, a princess ball, shoes, socks, PJ's and a coloring book with big crayons! Eloise's basket (on the right) had a Dora paint set, Dora ball, pink converse, socks, PJ's, Dora sippy cup, Dora bubble bath, bubbles and a pinwheel.
Then it was time to put on our Easter best and go on an egg hunt!
Eloise found the candy filled eggs quickly.
Lucie found a few candy filled eggs but mostly stuck to the hard boiled eggs.

Next up mommy wanted to do a photo shoot of the girls!

Finally, it was time to go to church! It was so nice getting to see our pastor and our friends at the services! The sermon was awesome and we enjoyed listening to the Easter Story and talking about how "Jesus Lives!" The sanctuary was decorated beautifully, too! (Unfortunately, we forgot to take the camera!)

When we got home the girls took a nap and Mommy started preparing Easter dinner.
On the menu: Ham, green bean casserole, potato casserole, deviled eggs, fruit salad and rolls!
Her prayer: "God is great. God is Good. Thank you for Eloise's happy birthday, thank you for dinner, thank you for Easter. Jesus Lives! Amen."
I'm so proud of my little girls and my family. God has blessed us in so many ways! Happy Easter!
