Lucie's 6 Month Stats

Can you believe it? 6 months has passed since I delivered my sweet, lovable, cuddler! We went to the pediatrician today and here are little Lucie's latest stats!

Weight: 14 Lbs. 3.9 oz (14%)
Length: 25 3/4 inches (44%)
Head Cir.: 17 1/8 inches (75%!!)

She has grown 2 1/4 inches in length since her last doctors visit and gone from the 22% to the 44%!

Recent Milestones Reached:
Sits up with minimal support, eats fruits, vegetables, and grains, gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth.

Here's my little Goose in action... Patrick and I are amazed. She's already acting like she is going to crawl! Eloise didn't do any of this until she was 11 months old. I guess its time to dust off the baby gates!

Last weekend we went down to the Texas Hill Country for Sarah and Clint’s wedding! We had a great time in Fredericksburg! The wedding was held at a quaint little church off of Main Street. Afterwards we headed over to celebrate at Becker Vineyards. The location, décor, food, wine and people were so divine! It was directly out of Southern Living Weddings. SOOOO Cute! Sarah was a beautiful bride and I know she and Clint will be so happy together! Congrats! The Newly Weds having their first dance together!

Adorable decorations
Family wedding pictures through history appropriately displayed on a vine barrel!

VBC

Last week the girls and I went to Vacation Bible Camp at Stonebridge United Methodist Church. The minimum age for attendance is 3, but if you volunteer then you can utilize the nursery for younger children. I decided it would be a fun way to serve god, so I decided to volunteer in the nursery. (I had to stay close to my nursing baby!) Eloise REALLY enjoyed going to watch the opening and finale everyday. She also got to go to the playground with all of her new friends! Mommy and Lucie stayed in the infant room to play with all of the babies. We all had a good time and next year Eloise can participate in ALL of the festivities! We can't wait!

Eloise (not smiling) with one of the Youth volunteers! (She is going through the "I'm not smiling for pictures phase")

Frilly, Girly, Bachelorette Spa Day!

Sarah is such a sweet friend of mine! A few weeks ago we gathered to have a girly spa day with a lingerie shower. I was so nice to sit, relax, and enjoy the conversation and lovely spa pedicures! The food was great, but the company couldn't’t be beat! Thanks for the fun day ladies… I can’t wait to do it again sometime! OOO, LA LA!
Such cute cookies!! They were little corsets!
Adorable invites!
Sarah's mom hand gathered and smocked this nightgown herself!!
(I would love to learn, Mrs. Connor!!)UH, OH! A see through apron.... hhehehee.. I am blushing!

Lucie's Photo Shoot

Went went to Studio 121 today to have some pictures taken of Lucie. I was surprised at how well they turned out considering Lucie wasn't feeling it! Of course, big sister, Eloise, had to get in on the action! You can view them at www.holdmymemories.com/ksurratt

A Beautiful Day For the Park!

We didn't have anything scheduled for this morning! Since that rarely happens, we took full advantage of the gorgeous day! We drove down to Dallas to visit my Aunt Debby. Eloise LOVES her and was so excited to see her! I love her neighborhood because of all the pretty houses and mature shady trees (something McKinney doesn't have too many of!)We went to a park in her neighborhood and then afterwards she treated us to Chick-fil-A (yummy!) Thanks Aunt Deb for a fun day... We love you!

Such a great park... I wish we had trees like this in McKinney!

Lucie in the Baby Bjorn! She LOVED watching all the kids. It wont be too long before she's running around with them!

Eloise swinging... Silly Blogger won't let me rotate these pictures.

She loved digging in the gravel... I think we are headed to Target to buy some sand toys!

Bon Voyage Brooke and Joey!

I am finally coming out of denial and accepting the fact that my great buddies, Brooke and Joey are moving! I am excited for them and the adventure that they are embarking on! I know their lives are about to change in such a positive and exciting way! However, I am still very selfishly sad to see them go. Last weekend we all got together to have one final cookout (cookouts are a frequent in our group.) I hope that we will visit often! :) Love ya'll!

Second Annual Roomie Reunion!

On Memorial Day weekend Patrick and I attended my Second Annual Roomie Reunion at my parents river house in Seguin! We had so much fun last year and have decided to keep the tradition going. This year, there was so much fun to be had! My parents watched the girls for the weekend (it was my first time leaving Lucie.. and it was SO hard!) There were 4 of us that lived together in college, and we made so many memories in our little house on 32nd street! We stayed up late dancing in the living room, spent the days chatting on the porch, and enjoyed our time at Texas Tech to the fullest! These ladies are my dearest friends. We have all been in each others weddings, and have now started to have our own families! I can't wait to continue making memories together for many more years to come! You will notice that there are only 3 of us in the pictures. :( Danielle our numero quatro is 7 months pregnant and she and her husband, Micah, couldn't make the trip from El Paso. We sure missed you Danielle and Micah!

Showering Sarah and Clint

Our dear friends, Sarah and Clint, are getting married! A few weeks ago we went to a fabulous evening dedicated to showering them with love and gifts. It was such a fun party, and we really enjoyed celebrating them! Here are some pictures of the night.

The happy couple, Sarah and Clint! Look at that adoring soon-to-be hubby! So sweet!

The Girls!

Our fabulous Host's, Brooke and Joey, with the couple.
They, sure can throw a party!

The adorable "tablescape" and delicious food!
CHEERS! Fun party favors... very appropriate, since their reception is at Becker Vineyards in Fredricksburg, TX!
We had such a fun night and can't wait to see them "tie the knot" in a few weeks! It will surely be a fun, "Hill Country affair!"
